This position will also collaborate with warehouse personnel and technicians to ensure a smooth process for tracking incoming/outgoing shipments. This position reports to the Logistics Manager.
Essential Functions
Major Responsibilities:

- Prepare outgoing shipments for all FedEx, U.S. Mail, DHL.
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain organized filing systems for inbound and outbound freight.
- Palletizing, inspecting, and staging of orders
- Loading and unloading of trucks/trailers and containers as needed.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects.
- Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments.
- Receive and confirm the accuracy of incoming freight.
- Assist and perform deliveries and pickups at various locations.
- Assist Logistics Manager and other departments with warehouse organization.
- Assist with warehouse and departmental responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure workplace safety and efficiency.
- Follow proper safety protocol at all times.
- Wear glasses, gloves and hard hats as needed.
- Attendance is an essential requirement for this position.
- To be determined by supervisor on a permanent or project basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS Diploma required.
- Class E license required (Class A CDL preferred)
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations a plus.
- Familiar with UPS and FedEx software.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, work orders, and memos.
- Exhibits dependability, including following instructions, punctuality and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in a fast paced environment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work at a consistent pace throughout the shift
- Due to the complexity and weight of the equipment, adequate stamina and physical strength are necessary to perform the duties of the job
- Work with power cables and power distribution in common live event environments
- Work under any prevailing terrain and weather conditions and be appropriately dressed to do so, regardless of cold, heat, humidity, or wet weather conditions
- Frequent manual lifting, up to 50 lbs., depending on equipment available (50-80% of shift)
- Frequent pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., depending on equipment available (50-80% of shift)
- Sufficient manual dexterity to perform activities required under essential functions
- Frequent light grasping and fine motor tasks (65-85% of shift)
- Ability to perform gross body coordination and hand-eye coordination tasks without instability
- Work on a variety of uneven surfaces installing power cables and lights
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, lift, crawl, twist and move frequently during working hours
- Frequent standing (65-85%)
- Occasional stair climbing and descending (30% of shift)
- Must be able to see or use prosthetics that will enable the senses to function adequately to ensure that the essential functions of this position can be fully met
