We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back-End Developer III to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely coding of new software, bug fixes, and software changes.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Computer Science or related degree.
- 4 years of experience in software development with a core focus on C# and .NET.
Core Competencies:
- Familiarity with working directly with Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and other Azure cloud services.
- Experienced with object-oriented design, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience and expertise in dealing with RESTful APIs, microservices-based architecture, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong database experience (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or other relational/non-relational databases).
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows.
- Good analytical skills and the capacity to deal with challenging problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment and on an individual basis.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple project simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Keep accurate and thorough records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all levels and positions of the company.
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Essential Duties:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level applications using C#,.NET, and Azure.
- Implement, design, and optimize backend systems, services, and APIs for performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and other developers to acquire requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Implement Azure cloud services, databases, and APIs to develop robust and efficient solutions.
- Ensure code quality, unit test, and code review to achieve a high level of development.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design and deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize current applications and systems.
- Up to date with software development trends and technologies, particularly cloud computing, .NET, and Azure.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager.
