DISHWASHER β JOB DESCRIPTION
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing tables, bringing dirty plate ware to the kitchen, and loading and unloading the dishwasher. The Dishwasher reports directly to the Executive Chef.
Dishwasher duties will include, but are not limited to:- Cleaning tables, chairs, and floors
- Bring specific needs to the table, including fresh silverware, beverage refills, and delivery of food
- Bring dirty plate ware, silverware, and glassware to the kitchen
- Restock server stations
- Maintain clean, sanitary dishes and utensils
- Load soiled dishes into dish rack and prepare dish machine for cleaning cycle
- Load appropriate soap levels and time cycle
- Unload and stack dishes and glassware in appropriate storage area
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and ensures safe storage of dish carts and related supplies
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, bend, stoop
- Ability to cross-train and work in different departments
The Dishwasher is either a full time or Part time position and hours my vary
Salary/Income:The Dishwasher is a non-exempt, hourly position
