Information Technology (IT) Support Technician Responsibilities:
The Information Technology Support Technician supports all levels of the Company’s distributed networking environment in a professional and timely manner. The Information Technology (IT) Support Technicians have the ability to promote change, pick up new technologies quickly, adapt to changing requirements. The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician reports directly to the Director of Information Technology (IT).
Information Technology (IT) Support Technician duties will include, but are not limited to:- Setup and deployment of all user workstations
- Travel to Company sites, as needed, for routine and emergency repairs including computers and point of sale (POS) at the registers and pumps
- Perform system software and hardware upgrades to maintain operational efficiency
- Assist in maintaining internet service, firewalls, telephone and VPN connectivity
- Troubleshoot printer problems and network connectivity issues
- Conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and diagnose hardware and software problems
- Maintain Active Directory/ Microsoft Office 365 environment
- Manage helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Administer all aspects of user accounts
- Maintain and manage software licenses
- Maintain POS systems at all of our locations
- Keep high availability of all fueling and payment systems
- Rotating off-hours support of fueling and payment systems
- Support and management of mobile systems in our environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Informatics, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics or related technical program
- Two (2) years of Information Technology (IT) experience
- Experience with information systems, software applications and analyzing quantitative information
- Strong technical, analytical, communication & organizational skills
- Strong PC hardware and operating system knowledge
- Strong ability with Microsoft Office
- Mac knowledge is a plus
- Windows administration skills
The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week
Salary/Income:The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician is an exempt, salaried position
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
