Service Writer

Job Duties

• Represent GTR to all customers through the efficient and accurate handling of customer questions and repair orders
• Act as a liaison between the customer and technicians to ensure all parties know the status of repairs
• Verify warranty and service contracts as needed
• Provide accurate repair orders and estimates to customers to maintain profit margins
• Maintain service records for customers
• Prepare billing invoices for customers
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field is very beneficial but not required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor or similar position beneficial but not required
