We are a very busy and awesome restaurant in a gated community in North Naples. We are looking to hire this new position to assist in further growth through this season. We are a rapidly growing company with further opportunities on the horizon.
Looking for someone with attention to detail, whom is reliable and focused.
Shift will be 12-8pm weds, thur, fri and sat and 11-7 sundays
Job Overview
The Expediter plays a crucial role in the culinary environment, ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently and accurately. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. The Expediter acts as a liaison between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Duties
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor the preparation of food items to ensure they meet quality standards before being served.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order modifications or special requests from customers.
- Conveying special request to chef for approval, monitor allergy requests
- Prepare simple food items for expo garnish line, prepare soups for table service
- Stock and fill to-go items and service items at the beginning and end of shifts
Skills
- Culinary experience is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Strong background in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including bussing and food service processes.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between kitchen and service teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping others enjoy their dining experience.
