Description
We are looking for an experienced Child Care Center Director to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our afterschool facility programs. This part-time position works on-site at an elementary school campus after school from 2 : 45p to 6 : 30p ( Monday - Friday) totaling 18 to 20 hours weekly. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations, supervise staff, develop and implement educational programs, and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the center. Below are the day-to-day responsibilities of the current open position.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling
- Develop and implement educational programs, activities, and curricula that meet the developmental needs of the children
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, and provide guidance and support as needed
- Establish policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the center
- Maintain records and submit reports to governing boards as required
- Monitor and manage the budget for the center
- Partner with parents and guardians to ensure the best possible care is provided for the children
