What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Leader position at Gathers Tea Bar?
As a Shift Lead, you’ll help manage daily operations, support team members, and ensure a great customer experience.

Oversee the flow of the shift, ensuring smooth operations, timely service, and adherence to the store's standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer service.

Assign tasks and manage staff to ensure all positions (e.g., drink preparation, cashier, cleaning) are covered efficiently. Provide guidance and support as needed.

Address customer concerns or complaints, resolve issues, and ensure a positive dining experience by maintaining high levels of hospitality.

Keep track of inventory levels, and place orders to ensure the restaurant is stocked with necessary supplies for the shift.

Ensure that food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are followed by the team, including proper storage, preparation, and handling of ingredients.
Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in food service, barista, or boba tea preparation is a plus but not required—training will be provided!

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Passion for tea, bubble tea, and creating an inviting space for guests.

Retail and restaurant experience
