Product Development Manager
The product manager will be responsible for managing all product development projects working closely with stakeholders, product designers, and product team members. Broadly this involves everything in the A-Z process of dreaming up a product then bringing it to life. That could mean smaller product customization projects, launching new and innovative products to market, and everything in between. Individuals who are enthusiastic, entrepreneurial minded, problem solvers, and highly detail oriented will enjoy this role.
Your Responsibilities;
-Effectively and proactively manage the scope, schedule, and cost for all product development.
-Collaborate with designers, creative team and sourcing teams in new product processes.
-Maintain clear and concise communication with project stakeholders including domestic and international partners.
-Motivate all involved on product development to complete project tasks well and on time.
-Track and process samples for accuracy.
-Liaison for marketing and visual styling on sample availability, and timeliness for photoshoots.
-Resource for fulfillment center and customer experience on questions regarding product details.
-Manage the product launch calendar for all active products in queue.
-Interact cross-functionally with other stakeholders.
-Create weekly reports on the status of product tasks for all vendors and managers for vistibility
-Present product developments calendaring in the weekly product meeting and quarterly line review
-Draft PO’s to be approved by admin, then send to factories.
-Create product 411 documents for every product in production.
-Update Airtable with new SKU’s relevant details once PO’s have been placed.
-Ensure project milestones, deliverables, launch dates are achieved on time.
- Maintain systems that enhance our product development process and add value to the Gathre culture.
-Organize and keep track of samples at Gathre HQ.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
-Design or edit spec sheets, tech packs, or other development deliverables.
Requirements:
-Highly motivated to meet product goals on time
-Strong sense of ownership and urgency
-Proactive and concise in all written and verbal communication with vendors, stakeholders, and team members
-Comfortable following up and pushing partners to complete tasks and maintain project deliverables
-High attention to detail managing several product launch timelines concurrently
-Excellent at managing competing and adjusting priorities
-Intermediate level capability of MS Office software, specifically Excel
-Ability to work closely and effectively with fellow employees and across departments.
-Bachelor's degree in applicable field
-3 years of project management experience
-Proficiency in Adobe Suite
-Demonstrated leadership experience
