Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the company’s buildings, grounds, and systems. This role will involve troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring all equipment and facilities remain functional and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical).
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and systems as needed.
- Maintain and repair lighting systems, plumbing, and electrical circuits.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Assist with facility renovation projects and upgrades.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies or service requests promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized maintenance services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
