What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Gator Garage Doors?
We are looking for a dynamic experienced Dispatcher who is responsible to assign and manage schedules with technicians, customers, and trade managers from multiple departments throughout the work day.
The position is based out of our Round Rock office: 16713 Joe Barbee Dr, Round Rock, TX 78664.
Responsibilities:
- Assigns maintenance and repair calls to technicians based on location, availability, and skill levels.
- Manages schedule and maintains communication with technicians, customers, and management throughout the workday.
- Review calls scheduled for the day and look for agreement information, correct skill level, special order parts, special instructions from customers, payment method and directions, if needed.
- Assign, schedule and route service calls to minimize travel time, costs and call backs.
- Explain and answer all questions with customers on scheduling service work and company policies and procedures.
- Explain customers’ questions regarding Home Warranty Agreements.
- Documents customer contacts and distributes to appropriate staff responsible for resolution.
- Will answer calls in queue and transfer to appropriate personnel.
- Extended hours may be required.
- Must meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Service Titan experience a plus.
- Over three years dispatching experience.
- Ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced, and dynamic environment coupled with the ability to be a self-starter and work on many projects at once.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills to answer customers’ questions in simple, understandable language.
- Possess effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with co-workers and company personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Home Warranty Contracts and Agreements, policies, and procedures, etc.
- Ability to establish a professional and productive rapport with internal personnel and external customers.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
