Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales & Business Development Manager at Gatsby Glass in Bentonville, AR. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and promoting Gatsby Glass products and services. While the role is based in Bentonville, AR, some work from home is acceptable.
As a sales & business development manager at Gatsby Glass, you will be responsible for selling glass, metal framework and hardware products and installation services to commercial and residential owners in Northwest Arkansas. A successful sales rep will have creative lead-generating techniques and the drive to exceed sales goals. You will use your strong communication and selling skills to present innovative solutions to prospective customers.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to educate them on available options in a consultative selling approach
- Generate leads, participate in networking events,
- Measure customer spaces for quoting
- Generate quotes for customers
- Overcome customer objections and concerns to close sales
- Must complete other projects, as assigned.
- May need to lift up to 100 lbs on occasion
- Monitor and review all work orders to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maintain constant communication between all departments on current work orders.
- Manage and maintain daily reporting.
- Answering new and existing customers' phone calls while following sales processes.
- Relationship building, networking, cold calling, canvasing, and meeting with prospective clients when needed.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have Experience in Sales or otherwise proven experience as a sales executive or relevant role
- Must have a working knowledge of CRM programs
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Very detail oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including and understanding of basic grammar and writing
- High energy, positive attitude, and forward thinking
- Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Ability to follow policy and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learning speed and a passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
- Construction or services selling experience
- Experience with Service Titan
- Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time while occasionally out in the field knocking on doors and engaging with business owners
Salary : $45,000 - $89,000
