Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with expertise in managing accounts payable, and financial record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Utilize QuickBooks and a cloud-based POS system (Shopify) for financial and operational management.
- Generate and reconcile financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Support general accounting tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize financial processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with cloud-based POS systems, specifically Shopify.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and other financial tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
