Job Title: Service Valet / Technician Apprentice
Summary
Having a passion for Cars and looking to become a Porsche Technician
Completes all work assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Duties
- Meet and greet Service Guest and help direct them to a Service Consultant.
- Track, log and photograph Guest vehicles and check in and out Dealer Mobility units.
- Works alongside Service Consultants / Shop Foremen to learn to perform quality Guest services on Service Drive.
- Delivers customer cars (Must be able to drive a manual gear box) to service work area and deliver back to service drive when instructed.
- Help assist with Guest vehicle pick up and deliveries when needed.
- Performs oil top offs, tire pressure checks, and other updates needed to service vehicles.
- Help daily to maintain cleanness of workshop and remove items for disposal.
- Operates all tools and equipment safely.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense, understanding carrying out simple one- or two-step instructions. Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Ability to apply common sense, understanding carrying out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Valid Driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
