Gause Boulevard Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Are you passionate about your commitment to delivering exceptional service to our loyal clientele and the highest quality care to their boarded and hospitalized pets? If so, this opportunity is for you!
Primary Responsibilities
· Ensure the upkeep of the kennels and the facility throughout the day
· Ensure all laundry is completed throughout the day
· Ensure all Dogs are walked multiple times throughout the day, along with any additional play times required
· Feed and provide clean water to patients/boarders twice daily
· Maintain accurate elimination/feeding records, along with any illness/injury occurrence while patients are here
· Notate tasks completed on list provided
· Assist Veterinary Technicians and Doctors as needed
· And More!
Qualifications
· At least 1 year of experience in a kennel setting is preferred
· At least 1 year providing top notch customer service
· Truly superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to meet the need of the person you are communicating with
· Ability to restrain 50-60 lbs.
· The ability to effectively prioritize and meet multiple request at one time
· Must be tech savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly

Compensation &n Benefits
We are searching for a great Full-time candidate and offer competitive pay accordingly, the starting hourly wage for this position is $10/hr. and is dependent upon experience.
Hours & Availability
· Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
· Weekends and Holidays
