JOB SUMMARY
A Subject Matter Expert is an individual whose qualifications and/or expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique. Subject Matter Experts do not have specific experience/education qualifications but are typically identified as recognized Industry leaders for a given area of expertise. Subject Matter Experts typically perform the following kinds of functions: Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff; Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; Consults with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
Roles And Responsibilities
This is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) position whose qualifications and/or expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique in providing technical advice and analysis on US and International Telemetry projects supporting DoD infrastructure for Weapons Platform Test and Range capability, upgrade, and improvement modernization:
Provide SME technical advice and assistance for the 412th EWG
The candidate shall provide expert advice, analysis, and assistance in the definition, design, development, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of the project management system, leveraging their expertise in IT development, Application Programming Interface (API) development, and no-code/low-code technologies. The candidate shall apply their knowledge of DevOps and Agile Project Management methodologies to optimize project management practices, improve project schedule and cost performance, and enhance overall project delivery. This shall include, but not be limited to, the design, development, and deployment of customized project management solutions, including applications, templates, workflows, dashboards, and reports, utilizing a range of technologies and tools, including but not limited to, coding languages, APIs, machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, and data analytics platforms. The candidate shall also develop and maintain a project management information system, utilizing their expertise in data management, data governance, and business intelligence, to support the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the organization. The project management information system shall include, but not be limited to, data warehousing, data mining, and business analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the candidate shall develop and maintain project management applications, reporting tools, and dashboards to support project management and test operations, including the development of reports and metrics to measure program performance and progress, such as key performance indicators (KPIs), burn-down charts, velocity metrics, and other relevant metrics. The candidate shall also apply AI and machine learning techniques to automate project management tasks, such as task assignment, resource allocation, and risk management, and to provide predictive insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making. The candidate shall ensure that all solutions are integrated with existing systems and tools, and are designed to support real-time monitoring, reporting, and decision-making, utilizing techniques such as data visualization, predictive analytics, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP). The candidate shall also ensure that all solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant industry standards and regulations.

- Must be able to obtain an active U.S. Secret clearance and be subject to a government security investigation.
- Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
