Job Purpose
Responsible for assisting in the production process
Job Responsibility Summary
- Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving ability utilizing safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Understand electrical schematics
- Recordkeeping
- Preventative Maintenance Program
- Transformer inspections
- Infrared panel testing
- PLC and VFD drive troubleshooting, updating, programming, etc.… (knowledge of Siemens a plus)
- Operation and maintenance on overhead crane (AC and DC)
- Must communicate with supervisors and coworkers
- Supervising projects while working hands on with team
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to troubleshoot both power wiring and controls
- Ability to run rigid conduit and wiring
- Knowledge in 13.8 KV, 110v/220v, 480v, 2300v, 25 HZ etc... A/C power and working knowledge of 250 DC power.
- Knowledge of 13.8 KV to 120 VAC Breaker Maintenance and upgrade
- Electrical preventative maintenance knowledge
- Understand pre-use tool inspection and site clean-up post completion
