What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Gautreaux's Outdoor Power?
Assembly/Shop Technician:
- Assembly and Inspection of Outdoor Power Equipment such as ZTR mowers, string trimmer, blowers etc.
- Preparation and inspection of new equipment prior to customer delivery
- Tire repairs & replacement
- Small mechanical repairs/service such as oil change, tuneup.
- Loading unloading freight truck with equipment deliveries
- Ensuring overall shop cleanliness
- Assisting Technicians with repairs
- Keeping equipment lot clean and organized
Position hours are Mon-Friday 8-5
Application much have basic mechanical knowledge. This is an entry level position, we provide training for the position specifics but previous mechanic experience/knowledge is a must.
Attention to detail: Many times this position is the last person to examine/test the equipment prior to customer delivery so it must be properly assembled an prepped.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
