JOB TITLE: Clinical Director

REPORTS TO: Program Director

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provide clinical team leadership and clinical supervision to counselors and case managers. Oversee treatment coordination and service delivery to program clients. Attend regular staff, clinical team, and supervision meetings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide clinical supervision to all clinical staff; including group and individual hours toward licensure for designated staff/interns and document.

* Provide leadership and consultation to staff collaborating with mental health agencies.

* Assist with program expansion and development.

* Assure compliance with clinical aspects of contract including utilization and documentation.

* Participate in weekly clinical supervision meetings.

* Work with management team and evaluator to formulate, implement and maintain policies and

procedures.

* Schedule and attend monthly in-service training.

* Assist staff with crisis intervention.

* Commit to the prevision of cultural competent service.

* Responsible for compliance with mandatory reporting laws, mandatory incident reporting and for

ensuring ethical practices are followed.

* Provide performance feedback to clinical staff when needed, assist program directors with annually

evaluation/review.

* Perform other related task and duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

* A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or an LADC I.

* Working knowledge of 12 Step Programs

* Four years experience working in addictions.

* Two years supervisory experience.

* Must be able to demonstrate cultural competence.

* Knowledge of Federal, state and local laws governing substance abuse and mental health services.

* Must meet Massachusetts CORI requirements

DESIRED SKILLS:

* Previous experience working is substance abuse recovery home/treatment center.

* Experience providing supervision to interns.

* Experience working SAMHSA/CSAT.

* Have relationships with mental health/substance abuse providers in greater Boston.

* Ability to motivate staff and volunteers.

Work Location: In person

Salary : $66,200 - $83,800
