Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements
- Create and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX, and exploratory testing
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or discrepancies
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve issues
- Participate in test planning and estimation activities
- Provide timely feedback and status updates to the QA lead/project manager
- Retest resolved bugs and perform sanity checks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar QA role
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA processes
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries (Optional but preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
