Estate Planning Attorney

Overview:

Join our long-established legal practice in Napa as an Estate Planning Attorney. We are seeking a dedicated legal professional with experience in estate planning who values client relationships and is passionate about delivering personalized legal services. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with clients, providing guidance on complex estate planning matters. The senior Attorney has written chapters of the CEB Trust Administration book and lectured extensively to lawyers and CPA’s.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate directly with clients to design and implement tailored estate plans for basic and high-end clients.

· Simplify and clearly explain intricate legal concepts and strategies, ensuring clients fully understand their options.

· Develop and nurture strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor throughout the estate planning process.

· Draft, review, and finalize basic and high-end estate planning documents.

· Work closely with clients to develop custom estate plans that align with their financial goals, family dynamics, and long-term legacy intentions.

· Stay informed about changes in estate tax laws, trust regulations, and financial trends that may affect high-net-worth individuals.

· Counsel clients on sophisticated legal issues, including asset protection, charitable giving, family business succession, and multigenerational wealth planning.

Qualifications:

· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.

· A minimum of 2 years of estate planning experience, with a proven track record of drafting and executing estate plans.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters in a clear, client-focused manner.

· High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

· Commitment to providing personalized, high-quality legal services to clients.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience.
