What are the responsibilities and job description for the A1 position at Gaylor Electric?
Scope of Work:
Performs installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the residential, commercial, and industrial electrical industry. This position is for individuals who have started their 1st year of electrical apprenticeship classes.
Responsibilities:
Assist electricians by performing assigned tasks under the supervision of a licensed journeyperson.
Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion.
Maintain a clean work area at all times.
Demonstrate safe work habits.
Exhibit proper care for all tools and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.
Experience: Entry position, little or no previous electrical experience required.
