The Patient Care Technician (PCT / CNA) performs a variety of patient care activities at Gaylord hospital. Working under the direction a licensed nurse, the PCT’s have valuable exposure to a wide variety of patient populations and skills while working in a warm and friendly atmosphere with supportive, interdisciplinary teams. With an average patient length of stay 25-30 days, the PCT is able to develop strong relationships and play a key role in the recovery of our patients.
Qualifications :
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- CNA, CPCT, CEMT, CMA or RMA required or equivalent Training Program
- Patient care experience preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) CPR Certification required prior to hire
WORK SCHEDULE : 32 hours / week, day shift (7 : 00 am-3 : 30 pm), every other weekend / holiday rotation
