Gaynor & Associates, an established manufacturer’s representative located in Eden Prairie (MN), is seeking to hire a Senior Outside Sales Representative to join our team.

Your Role:
- This position will have a primary focus on wholesale distribution and electric utility accounts in the Fargo/Moorhead area, throughout North Dakota, and including NW Minnesota. You’ll collaborate with our team and be responsible for achieving sales and category goals for multiple product lines based on the strategic plans of our principals and customers. The ideal candidate will be based in North Dakota and work remotely from a home office.
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement sales strategies for both short and long-term growth.
- Develop and maintain sustainable business relationships - both internal and external to the organization.
- Understand market dynamics and trends, with an ability to react efficiently and effectively.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales across multiple product lines.
- Actively organize and participate in key meetings throughout the year involving strategic planning, sales execution, marketing, forecasting, and product line reviews.
- Direct internal resources to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
- Create and execute a plan to drive demand at the branch and local level.
Your Skills:
- BS/BA Business preferred, but not required.
- 7 years of account management experience working with wholesale distribution.
- Strong relationship building, category management, strategic planning, decision making, data analysis, customer service, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a passion to succeed.
- Willing to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
