JOB SUMMARY: The Bookkeeper is an individual contributor with the overall responsibility to maintain a client’s QuickBooks file and ensure it is kept current. At the end of each month, when all reconciliations have been completed and any unknown transactions clarified, financial statements are provided to the client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Download bank statements.
- Coordinate with clients when security codes are needed for access.
- Download CSV files from bank and credit card websites.
- Format & import CSV files into QuickBooks Online as needed.
- Prepare reports of unknown transactions & update transactions as information is received.
2. Payroll.
- Onboard new employees.
- Send email reminders to employees regarding timesheet due dates.
- Review timesheets.
- Process payroll through ADP.
- Notify clients of cash requirements.
3. Client Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management – as it may or may not apply to each client.
4. Maintain communication with clients regarding their QuickBooks Online account and any items related to their financials.
5. Prepare annual reports for clients’ accountants.

Education, Training, Certifications and Experience
Required
- Experience in Bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Minimum of 2 years college experience
- Working knowledge of excel
Preferred
- 4-year college degree
- Tech savvy
- Experience with AI

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
