What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coating Painter position at GB Fabrication?
Receiving Inspection paint and components.
Perform concentration and pH checks on wash solutions.
Inspect painted parts on the Paint Lines.
Touch up paint on Paint Line as necessary.
Perform MEK Test.
Perform Cross Hatch Test
Perform Hammer Test
Perform Paint Coating Thickness Test
Perform light Gloss test
Assist operators with in-process inspections.
Perform inspection in the Assembly Department.
Coordinate the calibration activity for the Shelby Plant.
Verify equipment gage settings.
Initiate and maintain all associated quality paperwork.
Perform Shipping Dock Audits.
Coordinate movement of non-conforming parts between Shiloh and Shelby Plants.
Coordinate worksheets statistical studies as required.
Maintain paint chips and samples.
Keep the Quality Manager and Plant Manager informed on all quality related issues.
Assure work area is kept clean and orderly.
Make Quality Manager and Plant Manager aware of safety issues and concerns.
Perform other duties assigned by Management.
