Role Description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, as well as experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). This position is available for both full-time and part-time candidates, and we are willing to train the right person. Candidates with experience in skilled trades or automotive manufacturing are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Inspect products and parts for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurements.
- Apply knowledge of GD&T to assess the dimensional accuracy of parts.
- Document inspection results and provide feedback to production teams.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain inspection tools and equipment in proper working order.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience with GD&T is required.
- Experience operating a CMM machine.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment is preferred.
- Skilled trades background is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
