Financial Bookkeeper A/R Specialist Bookkeeper

GB Manufacturing Co., established in 1977, has progressively grown in the metal stamping industry. We are registered and certified in multiple international quality standards.

We are looking for a skilled AR Specialist Bookkeeper at our GB Manufacturing division in Delta, Ohio to help maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Includes working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibility is to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Close out month end in ERP system
• Daily sales invoicing
• Banking
• Month end reconciliations
• Process accounts receivable/payable

Skills

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• AS degree in Finance or Accounting minimum, bachelor's preferred
• Open to College Graduates.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, and production processes.
• Regular standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to work overtime.
• Pass a Drug Screen and have a Favorable Background
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment.
• A self-starter and motivated to work.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
