What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Coordinator position at GB Packaging?
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure OSHA compliance through regular audits, process evaluations, and training.
- Foster strong working relationships across all levels of personnel.
- Engage with the workforce on the floor (minimum 30% per day) to promote safety awareness.
- Maintain up-to-date OSHA and Safety documentation.
- Assist with divisional Environmental by working closely with Corporate Office.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all facility items.
- Perform environmental and safety audits.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with environmental regulations (air, water, and waste).
- Implement an effective environmental management system.
- Develop and conduct training materials to comply with OSHA and environmental regulations.
