Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our organization's efforts in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS training programs tailored to various employee levels.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and other relevant laws.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance metrics, incidents, and compliance status for management review.
- Analyze incidents through root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in safety practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fabricate solutions that enhance workplace safety and health.
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation law and ensure organizational policies reflect current regulations.
- Provide CPR training and emergency response preparedness for employees.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS-related inquiries and concerns within the organization.
Experience
- Proven experience in Environmental Health and Safety management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and occupational health standards.
- Demonstrated ability in training development, report writing, and effective communication skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies to address safety incidents.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation law as it pertains to workplace safety.
