Traveling Construction Superintendent - Mission Critical
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to support construction management for the GBA Builders Mission Critical. This superintendent will have the full support of the project manager while exercising autonomy in day-to-day operations. Successful candidates will be team players who is self-motivated and willing to jump in and assist where needed, adding value by offering thoughtful solutions and project efficiencies.
Responsibilities :
- Provide coordination and supervision of design-build and bid-build projects in mission critical facilities such as tele data switch centers and data centers
- Collaboration with clients, design team and contractors for project success
- Build / maintain jobsite culture of “Safety First”
- Quality Control / Quality Assurance
- Daily coordination and management of subcontractors and jobsite logistics
- Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc.
- Build / update construction schedule and ‘look ahead’ schedules
- Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical / site considerations are included
- Author and execute M.O.P.s (Method of Procedure)
- Complete daily / weekly reports and maintain photo journal of progress
