Position : Construction Inspector (Roadways)
Location : Lenexa, KS
Construction Inspector - Lenexa, Kansas
GBA is seeking a construction inspector to support our Transportation Group. The ideal candidate will have experience with inspection of roadway and bridge projects, field materials testing and the desire to lead projects. We are willing to educate and train individuals with the desire to grow in the inspection field.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Perform field materials testing on soil, aggregates, concrete and asphalt
- Observe and inspect construction to achieve compliance with contract documents
- Ability to gain ability to lead projects
- Perform project documentation, keeping timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare pay applications, change orders and general administrative duties
- Perform environmental inspections
- Other duties as assigned
