Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for excavation projects by analyzing siteplans, specifications, and other documentation.
- Utilize industry-standard estimation software and tools to generate detailed and competitive bids
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Work with Chief Estimator to accomplish department goals
- Within these projects our areas of focus consists of:
- Mass Earthwork
- Import/Export Fill Material
- Storm Sewer Installation
- Sanitary Sewer Installation
- Waterline Installation
- Utility Line Installation
Qualifications
- Education and experience: Must have minimum of two years experience of reading civil site plans , construction, Engineering or related field.
- Estimating background: Knowledge and experience providing conceptual and detailed cost estimates on multiple disciplines for new construction and renovation projects.
