GBA is looking for a Senior Associate to join our Transportation Group. This position entails serving as a resource for project managers and successfully manages client and partner relationships. They will growing our Transportation services in Illinois, along with leading or assisting in delivering design projects statewide. - Serve as Office Manager for the O’Fallon, IL office.
- Lead the hiring search for Roadway Project Managers, Licensed Engineers, EITs, and expanding the Traffic staff in the St. Louis Region
- Executing the Transportation Market Business Plan, including:
- Expanding sub role opportunities with partners for Illinois DOT projects
- Expanding municipal services into Illinois from our St. Louis Market
- Serve as a key pursuit manager for opportunities in Illinois, coordinating closely with our leadership team to help set strategic goals for growth.
- Build project teams and provide staff management and hands-on expertise to facilitate the design of complex transportation engineering projects with a multidisciplinary team.
- Lead project procurement, financial management and administration of projects, including:
- Proposal Development and Review
- Negotiation of scope of work and fee estimates
- Contract review and development
- Invoicing and Project Reporting
- Provide support for other GBA A/E Markets including: Survey, Site Development, Environment, Life Sciences, and Mission Critical services.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and establish new client relationships, serving in a seller/doer role.
- Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across all lines of our business
- Mentoring and supervising staff
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related, Master’s preferred
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, potentially in multiple states
- 20 years of experience in design, plan development, and project delivery
- 15 years minimum of experience in project and staff management
- Participation in continuing education and training opportunities
- Participation in professional societies/organizations recommended
- Experience winning and delivering projects
- Robust Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, internally and externally
- Excellent skills in organization, time management, delegation, critical thinking, problem solving, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and PDF documents
Salary : $170,000 - $200,000
