The Regional Manager is responsible for guiding operations, fostering strong client/franchisee relationships, and supporting profitability and growth initiatives.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and oversight to Franchise Partners and their teams within assigned region.
- Coaches and mentors Field Trainers and Operations Specialists as needed.
- Ensures compliance with food safety, brand standards, and operational protocols.
- Oversee operational performance of multiple franchise locations, ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to support training, performance evaluations, and business development.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance of franchise units; recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Partner with franchisees to resolve operational challenges and implement efficiency improvements.
- Act as a liaison between corporate teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, HR) and franchise operations.
- Enforce brand standards and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations.
- Lead regional meetings, participate in franchise onboarding, and contribute to strategic planning.
- Develop action plans to drive same-store sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Support new location openings through launch planning, training, and go-live execution.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regional market trends and competitor activity.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to influence and drive results through others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and a dynamic travel schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and POS/operations management systems.
- ServSafe Manager Certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field required.
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in multi-unit operations or franchise management, preferably in food service or hospitality.
- Proven success in leading geographically dispersed teams and scaling operations.
- Ability to travel regionally 70% of the time; occasional travel outside of region as needed.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during store visits.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Field-based with frequent travel to client and franchisee locations.
