Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power BI and Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI, as well as managing data pipelines and ensuring data integrity across various sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Design and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Build and manage ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources.
- Create and maintain documentation of data architecture and BI processes.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data models and reports for performance.
- Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience with Power BI, including DAX and M language.
- Strong background in data engineering, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases specifically - postgres
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data storage solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills couple
- Ability to read postgres / mongo data models and make sense of the data taxonomy on the existing applications.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with data governance and security standards.
