Production - General Labor

The Production General Laborer performs miscellaneous plant duties including direct production tasks and indirect production jobs.

• General Labor workers will be trained to do various positions including stacking and feeding.
• Workers assist machine operators to keep the orders running and cover when the operators are out.
• Performs general duties such as:
  • Stacking corrugated products
  • Conducting quality checks
  • Material set-ups
  • Maintaining, cleaning, and organizing workspaces
• Responsible for correct reporting on time and production sheet.
• Reports irregularities, maintenance needs, and quality problems to Supervisor.
• Performs any required data collection and chart recording related to the quality process.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Ability to operate complex machinery while adhering to safety regulations
• Generally, requires less than one month to become fully competent on the job
• Must be able to correctly interpret shop orders
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
• Candidates must be able to pass a background, drug screen, and pre-employment physical
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours per shift
• Overtime is mandatory
