Job Title: Sales Account Executive (Managed Technical Services)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Division & Department: iTech Solutions, MTS
Reports To: Vice President of Sales
Position Overview:
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new business and cultivating client relationships through consultative sales techniques. This role involves identifying customer needs and delivering value by selling Managed Technical Services, including cloud solutions, IT support, networking, and security services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify target accounts, utilizing databases, online platforms, and marketing resources.
- Work closely with marketing to develop timely follow-up campaigns to drive opportunities forward in the sales pipeline.
- Maintain up-to-date tracking of opportunities and account data in NetSuite CRM.
- Formulate and implement strategic sales plans for an assigned region or territory.
- Employ a solution-oriented, consultative sales approach to position GBS products and services effectively within assigned accounts.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of GBS offerings and their relevance to the target market.
- Manage resources and time effectively to meet sales goals and objectives.
- Close new business deals to achieve set revenue targets.
- Leverage team-based sales strategies to enhance opportunities and close rates.
- Collaborate with Senior Account Executives on high-value or complex account opportunities.
- Comply with all company policies and operational procedures.
- Contribute to revenue generation through time-and-material services and additional sales offerings.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients during all phases of the sales cycle, including implementation.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, sales activities, and outcomes.
- Provide regular updates to management on account progress, challenges, and new opportunities.
- Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with customers.
- Participate in customer meetings, reviews, and strategy sessions.
- Maximize the use of sales tools and processes, including CRM, RAIN, ROI, Discovery, Marketing Materials, and Sales Reporting systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, business software, project management tools, and online research.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required, including occasional overnight trips.
- This position is classified as safety-sensitive due to the travel component.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of business principles and acumen.
- Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.
