Field Operations Associate

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable, self-driven, and hardworking individual that enjoys working outdoors and learning new information and processes in the oil and chemical industry.

Job sites range from Houston, TX to New Orleans, LA to Vicksburg, MS with overnight accommodations provided.

Scope of work

Field Work: 80% - 90% – responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assess industrial job sites and pull samples.
• Manage materials and prepare them for transportation
• Work with shipping papers and documents for DOT transportation,
• Clean tanks, sumps, trucks, and process equipment
• Perform hot water pressure washing using heavy equipment such as ride-on lawn mowers, track loaders, forklifts.
• Special projects based on customer need

Office Work: 10% - 20% - must be able to or must exhibit a willingness to learn and understand how to:

• Prepare, complete, and file shipping documents/paperwork
• Prepare and submit waste profiles/characterizations
• Complete and submit lab samples including a chain of custody and analysis documents.

Candidate must:

• Must have valid/current Class C Driver's License.
• Must have reliable transportation for getting to customer sites.
• Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in our environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Requires manual lifting of up to 50lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
