Overview: The Curriculum Developer designs, reviews, and updates training courseware materials for Delta 8’s Instructor Qualification Course (IQC), QT, SF, and RSP at a specific site. This role ensures materials align with ISD and RSP standards, supporting site-specific needs (e.g., 4 SOPS at Schriever, 10 SOPS at Point Mugu, 53 SOPS at Fort Detrick).
Responsibilities:
- Review, revise, or create courseware (lesson plans, handouts, PowerPoint updates) per ISD and RSP requirements.
- Update Mission Task List (MTL) and Ready Spacecrew Tasking Memorandum (RTM) per Space Operations Command (SpOC) timelines.
- Deliver weekly Courseware Materials (A005) using Delta 8 templates.
- Communicate curriculum changes via instruction, email, or trackers.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably for military training programs.
- Expertise in ISD (DAFMAN 36-2675), RSP requirements (AFI 13-602V1, DAFGM2023-13-602V1), and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in MS Word (lesson plans), MS PowerPoint (handouts), MS Excel (trackers), and Adobe Acrobat (deliverables).
- Analytical and creative skills for instructional design.
