Job Description:
The Project Manager (Production Support Technical Analyst) leads production defect triage and monitoring for Web Apps, ensuring system stability and rapid incident resolution. This role analyzes end-to-end tickets, coordinates post-deployment testing, and supports 24/7/365 operational continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead investigation and resolution of production defects, tracking issues to closure.
- Facilitate daily post-deployment smoke testing and incident management (IM) support.
- Provide root cause analysis (RCA) and develop user stories to address system issues.
- Monitor dashboards and auto-tickets, delivering daily resolution status reports to IRS leadership.
- Coordinate weekend and after-hours support for patching and interfacing project maintenance.
- Maintain tracking of end-to-end tickets for analytics and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in production support or technical analysis for web applications.
- Proficiency in Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar monitoring tools.
- Experience with IRS Web Apps or federal IT incident management preferred.
