Overview: The Security Specialist oversees security compliance for Delta 8 training support across all sites, ensuring adherence to Operational Security (OPSEC), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and clearance requirements. This role supports secure operations and phase-in activities for ~15 contractor personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and maintain TS/SCI clearances for all contractor staff per DD Form 254.
- Implement OPSEC training and protocols, protecting the Critical Information and Indicator List (CIIL).
- Safeguard CUI, monitor data aggregation, and report potential classifications to the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR.
- Support phase-in activities, including obtaining Common Access Cards (CACs), SIPR tokens, and restricted area badges.
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in DoD security operations, including OPSEC and CUI management.
- Expertise in OPSEC (AFI 10-701, DoD directives), CUI (DoDI 5200.48), and security clearances (DD Form 254).
- Proficiency in government computers (NIPR/SIPR access) and PEX (secure data handling).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
