The Project Manager (Technical Integrator/Environments) leads the integration and management of technical environments for IRS digital and web solutions. This role ensures production readiness, coordinates deployments, and validates environments, bridging technical and operational needs to support large-scale IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale digital/web solutions across the SDLC, ensuring production readiness (e.g., DSRT).
- Coordinate system integrations, including full-stack development, automated testing, and environment setup.
- Manage and validate technical environments using tools like Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Oversee deployment processes, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage defect triage, and resolve integration issues.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with IRS security standards and federal regulations throughout integration efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience leading large-scale digital/web solutions across SDLC.
- Expertise in full-stack development, automated testing, and environment management (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Strong stakeholder coordination and project management skills.
- Proficiency with integration tools and platforms (e.g., APIs, middleware).
- PMP or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
- Experience with IRS online account systems or clean energy IT solutions.
- Active Public Trust or Secret clearance.
