Position Title: Human Resources Clerk
Location: Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH), Building 1750,
480 Central Ave., JBPHH, HI 96860
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Clearance Required: NACLC (Tier 3)
Salary: $23.05 per hour plus full health and welfare benefits (fringe value $4.57/hr.)
GC Associates requires an HR Clerk to provide Naval Health Clinic Hawaii administrative support services to include daily on-boarding and out-boarding coordination in support of the NHCH Contracting Department and assist with information requests from various departments, branch health clinics and annexes.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Track personnel action requests; track position vacancies; and maintainpersonnel files in accordance with personnel procedures and policies daily.- Draft weekly reports and minutes for Position Management Board; draftcorrespondence for deployed personnel entitlements; and draft documentsfor transfer and receipt of
- File manpower documents; prepare final Government approvedpresentations for Position Management Boards; and maintain PositionManagement Board archives daily.
- Ensure weekly receipt and distribution of vouchers for van pool and buspasses respectively for our GS personnel and Active Duty staff throughutilization of the Department of the Navy Transportation Incentive program(TIP).
- Perform daily the processing of new GS hires, Student Interns/Externs, Volunteers for Check-In's and Check-Outs for Naval Health Clinic Hawaii -coordinate with the various departments throughout Naval Health Clinic Hawaii to ensure smooth transition of personnel to their various work The contractor shall execute administrative requirements (such as receive paperwork; set up appointments; create folders, and ensure files are complete; signatures are signed; and the listed individuals are able to work)as it pertains to new personnel and the requirements established by Office of Personnel Management and the Military Treatment Facility.
- Attend all mandatory training such as monthly process improvement meetings, safety stand-downs, annual IT systems upgrade training, and command Annual Training.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of general office experience, and a minimum of six months' experience with Microsoft Office and database automation software functions.
- Shall read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently and maintain good communication skills with patients and other health care personnel.
- Shall be in good standing and under no sanction or suspension by the Federal Government.
- Shall possess and maintain current certification in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare Providers
