GC Associates USA requires a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cisco-based network infrastructure, security, and VoIP systems. This role requires proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related technologies, as well as ensuring the security of network systems in compliance with DISA guidelines. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 infrastructure.
- Administer and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, CUCM, VoIP, and Wi-Fi.
- Gather cable management requirements and ensure network compliance.
- Secure Cisco environments in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
- Scope, architect, and design new LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including EKMS cryptographic devices and long-haul requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline is required.
Experience: Six years of experience in the Information Technology field that demonstrate experience in:
- Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 infrastructure
- Firewall, IDS/IPS, CUCM, VoIP, and Wi-Fi administration and configuration
- Gathering cable management requirements and ensuring network compliance
- Securing Cisco environments in accordance with DISA STIGs
- Scoping, architecture, and design of new LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including EKMS cryptographic devices and long-haul requirements
Substitution of Experience for Education: If the candidate does not meet the education and experience requirements, ten years of IT experience can be considered equivalent. Six of those ten years should include experience in the areas listed above. Experience may overlap.
Salary : $110,000 - $160,000
