Geospatial Cloud Analytics (GCA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer / Proposal Development Intern to support our Proposal and Business Development teams. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn the end-to-end federal proposal lifecycle, working directly with senior leadership on proposal coordination, content development, compliance, and document management.
This internship is ideal for students interested in communications, criminal justice, pre-law, business, public policy, or government contracting.

- Assist in coordinating and managing the full proposal development lifecycle from pre-solicitation through final submission
- Help interpret solicitation requirements (e.g., RFQs, RFPs) and align proposal responses in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations
- Support strategy sessions, including win themes, solution alignment, and discriminators
- Assist in scheduling and conducting proposal kick-off meetings and color reviews (Pink, Red, Gold)
- Maintain configuration control of all proposal materials (drafts, comments, approvals, graphics)
- Assist with ongoing compliance and quality reviews of proposal content
- Organize and maintain proposal folders, document templates, and content libraries (SharePoint)
- Track tasks and deadlines across multiple concurrent proposal efforts
- Support development of pricing narrative sections, cover letters, and executive summaries
- Participate in After-Action Reviews to document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (Junior/Senior preferred) in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Communications, Business, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Interest in learning government procurement and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Familiarity with proposal tools such as Loopio, GovWin, or Federal Compass is a plus
- Self-starter with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Direct experience in the federal proposal development process
- Exposure to AV/IT technical solutions and government contracting
- Networking with senior proposal managers and executives
