What you will do:
Responsible for the sale of the organization’s products in a specified region or major geographical area. Sells GCC’s products and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.
Main Responsibilities:
Cultivates a positive safety culture in the district with both internal and external customers alike.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Review market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
Direct channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Assign sales territory to Sales Representatives.
Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
Meet with key clients, assisting Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and operations.
Coordinate interaction with sales coordinators and sales team, ensuring policies and procedures are maintained.
Heavily involved with larger projects that are outside normal quoting practices or has significant volume.
Prepare periodic sales reports showing volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition within the industry.
Responsible for the promotion of available product lines of the district.
Provide resources for the technical support for the customers in the region. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Professional journals, technical procedures, computer programs or governmental regulations.
Develop and implement a proactive approach to sales and marketing, including development of new markets expansion in existing markets, and promotion of new products.
Experience and abilities you will need:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing & Processing or related field.
Master’s Degree preferred.
5-7 years of experience
Leadership, Financial planning, Interpersonal and communication skills
Domestic travel
Problem solving skills
