Job Title: Cath Lab Technician
Bill Rate: $60-$65 Per Hour
Location: Morristown, NJ
Schedule: Days; 13 Weeks; 36/hr. (12*3)
Shift: 8:00 am - 8:30 pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
- Able to monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
- Provide procedural assistance to physicians, pre-, intra, and post-procedure.
- Assess and manage access site, and inform physician.
- Adhere to On-call protocol for Cath lab.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
CERTIFICATION(S)/LICENSE(S) REQUIREMENTS: Licensed Radiologic Technologist
RCIS certification preferred
BLS, ACLS
Schedule Notes: Cath Lab and EP Lab would only be looking at CVT and invasive techs who scrub interventional cardiology cases in cath labs and/or EP labs. They are licensed Radiology Technologists and/or Certified RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists). They do procedures such as PCI, Diagnostic Heart Caths, Ablations, Pacemakers.
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
experience scrubbing interventional cardiology Cath lab cases.
MMC Cath Lab and EP are looking for an RCIS certified OR a licensed RT who has experience scrubbing Interventional Cardiology procedures such as STEMI, PCI, Diagnostic Cardiac Caths
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Skills: IABP experience required
Cardiac Cath lab experience
Salary : $60 - $65
