Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that inventory is correctly stocked, labeled, and organized while compiling and maintaining reports to share with warehouse leaders.
Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Mon-Fri (occasional weekend work is required)
Pay Rate: negotiable based on experience

What You'll Do
- Use Oracle to print data location, check materials, and provide managers with reports
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and scanned to its current location
- Physically pull, move, and count inventory, noting any discrepancies
- Reconcile system errors, review shipment and receipt data, and compile inventory reports
- Operate sit down forklifts and RF scanners to scan, relocate and organize inventory
- Perform quality control and report and damaged or out-of-date material
- Serve as backup for other departments and assist with additional warehouse duties as needed
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- At least 3 years of warehouse inventory experience required
- Sit down forklift experience required
- Experience using an ERP, WMS, or SAP system required
- Cycle count and material handling experience required
- Previous experience investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies required
- Ability to read and write printed inventory records
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
