Warehouse Spooling Associate - 7:30AM-4:30PM M-F - Chesapeake, VA

Overview

Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently hiring Warehouse Spooling Associates to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for operating spooling machines, inventory control, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed.

Hours: 7:30AM to 4:30PM Mon-Fri

Pay Rate: $18/hr full benefits

Location: 3800 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323

What You'll Do

• Daily set-up and operation of spooling machine to wind, spool, and package materials
• Run test spool daily to ensure accurate measurements and specifications
• Perform pre-operational checks to ensure proper functioning of equipment
• Measure cable before returning to stock to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist with general inventory control and shipping & receiving duties
• Perform additional duties as needed
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• 3 years in a warehouse environment required
• Forklift experience required
• Willingness to learn
• Oracle experience a plus
• Basic math and reading skills
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
